Eliana graduated with an International Business Degree from La Universidad de Bogota Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Colombia and continued her education at Texas Tech University. She worked for Tribune Company for 15 years where she held several positions including Senior International Editor and Public Relations. Eliana created close relationships for the company. This experience helped her interact comfortably at multicultural levels and earned her an understanding of different cultures.After 15 years, Eliana chose to pursue her Real Estate Sales dream. She received her Texas Real Estate Agent license in 2013 and began working on her own investments including rehabs, investment properties, land development and new construction. She also works with investors and conventional clients. Eliana received after her Real Estate Broker license and is building her company ELKA INTERNATIONAL REALTY with a great team of professional real estate agents to develop a brokerage firm that redefines the traditional real estate model by building specialized departments giving clients unparalleled expertise and a positive experience. Eliana's interpersonal, conceptual, analytical and bilingual communication skills are an asset in this profession and she easily establishes and maintains long term business relationships. She can build markets and optimize local and national sales as well as international sales. She's a member of the National Real Estate Association (NAR), Texas Real Estate Association, and Houston Real Estate Association. She also engages with her community helping with the food and blood bank and a diverse number of charities including Candlelighters, a charity for children with cancer which is very close to her heart. Eliana is a member of the St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
